We are SO excited to share with you that Radiant Day Spa now offers services to remove skin irregularities in a safe, non-invasive way! Quickly and permanently remove common skin irregularities from your face and body. It works by a process known as electrodessication, which uses electricity to dehydrate skin abnormalities that then heal normally, revealing healthy skin. This is very similar to how a dermatologist might use liquid nitrogen to achieve a similar result.
This is not an operating tool, it is not invasive, and there is no blood. It treats topically on the skin through a small probe specifically in areas that we want to address, such as skin tags. We first treat the area with a topical numbing agent such as lidocaine for 15 to 20 minutes, and then through desired areas to permanently remove undesired skin irregularities.
What Can We Treat?
In just one single session, we can safely and non-invasively remove:
- Age Spots
- Sun Spots
- Skin Tags
- Cherry Angiomas
- Cholesterol Deposits
- Calcium Bumps
- Broken Capillaries
- White Heads
- and more!
What We Use
The device that we use is called the Perfect Touch. It is a simple, compact device that uses a high frequency electrical current to deliver a precise electrical spark through micro electric probe to dehydrate a skin growth. Therefore the the client doesn’t need to be grounded. Results are seen almost immediately and all treatment are permanent. This process begins dehydrating the skin abnormality. This process is topical and is not invasive. The treated will scab over within a day and heal naturally with new healthy skin will return and gradually take on the color of the surrounding tissue.
This works with all skin types and pigments for both men and women.
Questions You Might Have
Does It Hurt?
The treatment is best described as slightly uncomfortable because it is an electrical current being applied to a small part of your skin. We apply a topical numbing agent, such as lidocaine, to the area that we are treating, which eliminates most of the discomfort.
How Long Does it Take to Heal?
This depends on the size of the area treated, but the process will be similar to if you had a cut or scrape. The area that is treated will turn red and then scab over, and then it will heal naturally. Once the scabbed area nuturally falls aways to reveal healthy skin, the pigment will slowly match the existing area within several days to a week.
How Many Treatments are Required?
Results are instantaneous for treated areas and no other treatments are required unless there are additional abnormalities you would like to remove.
