Peels

Radiant Day Spa offers chemical peels that are designed to deeply exfoliate the skin. This is a completely organic product, which is a plant-based acid that is highly concentrated. Our professionals will apply this to your skin to treat acne, fine lines, wrinkles and pigmentation. This treatment typically takes about 30 minutes.

It is super important that you inform your esthetician which chemical products you are already using to avoid any adverse reactions.

Perfect Touch Skin Irregularity Removal

NON-Invasive Skin Irregularities Removal – $125

Radiant Day Spa offers a completely safe, non-invasive treatment method that permanently removes common skin irregularities from your face and body. It works by a process known as electrodessication, which is an area of the skin after treated with a mild numbing agent is then treated with a minor electrical current, which dehydrates skin irregularities. This process is similar to how a dermatologist may permanently remove similar issues using freezing techniques. It is not an operating tool or a surgical device, and is treated topically on the skin.

In just one session, we can remove age spots, sun spots, skin tags, cherry angiomas, fibromas, keratosis, calcium bumps, hyperpigmentation, broken capillaries and more.

Dermaplaning

Treatments are $69 and last 30-60 minutes

Dermaplaning, or Epidermal Leveling, is a treatment that uses an abrasive skincare tool to gently remove the thicker, uneven outer layer of skin. This is very similar to Microdermabrasion, except that dermaplaning also removes the fine hairs (also called velus or ‘peach fuzz’) that leaves you silky smooth where treated.

This is a long lasting treatment that can vary depending on the damage to your skin and the number of treatments you receive. Many people have a couple of treatments within a short time span, and then monthly treatments going forward to maintain the same benefits.

This type of skin rejuvenation is used to treat light scarring, discoloration, sun damage and can help with things such as stretch marks.

What it can do for you:

  • Improve age spots and black heads
  • Improve hyperpigmentation (patches of darkened skin)
  • Exfoliate your skin, resulting in a refreshed appearance
  • Lessen the appearance of stretch marks
  • Reduce fine lines and wrinkles
  • Reduce or eliminate enlarged pores
  • Treat acne and the scars left by acne

This type of treatment helps to thicken your collagen, which results in a younger looking complexion, although not as effectively as Microneedling. Collagen is a protein in your skin that’s abundant when you’re a child and makes skin appear taut and smooth. Collagen production declines as we age, resulting in looser, uneven skin.

Microdermabrasion

Treatments are $59 or you can add it on to any Facial for only $30

Microdermabrasion treatments use a mildly abrasive instrument to gently sand your skin, removing the thicker, uneven outer layer. Microdermabrasion is used to treat light scarring, pigmentation spots, enlarged pores, fine lines, and wrinkles.

Microneedling

Services start at $220 per treatment and typically take about 60 minutes

The multi-purpose treatment targets everything from acne scars to hair loss.

Microneedling is in the insertion of very fine short needles into the skin for the purpose of triggering the regenerative capabilities of your own body. This has become a popular treatment that is both effective and inexpensive. This treatment uses a device called a dermapen that is made up of micro-fine needles that range in diameter of .0.5 to 2.5 millimeters. While this can sound daunting, it is a very simple and easy process. You are given a local numbing agent near the treatment area and the needles only pierce skin-deep.

“From microneedling alone, you will look plump, pink and luminous for a couple of weeks. On a short-term basis, it plumps the skin and makes the skin look more radiant from inflammation and very superficial swelling,” Dr. Macrene says.

Microneedling also promises improvement over time. According to a 2008 study, skin treated with four microneedling sessions spaced one month apart produced up to a 400% increase in collagen and elastin six months after completing treatment. An additional recent study 100 test subjects were divided into two groups; one set was treated with minoxidil lotion and the other received minoxidil lotion plus microneedling. After 12 weeks, 82 percent of the microneedling group reported 50 percent improvement versus 4.5 percent of the minoxidil lotion-only group.
